Tonight, when the clock strucks twelve I will make my twelve wishes and will add hope for my dreams. As dreams come true!!

¡Doce deseos! ¿Cómo puedes acumular doce deseos? Yo si me pongo a pensar creo que "sólo" tengo dos: ganarme el cielo y ganarme la tierra. ¿Tantos mundos conoces tú aparte de esos? ¿Tantos quieres alcanzar? Si lo consigues no te olvides de enseñarnos las fotos.

Pues entre que yo creo que este año las campanadas iban más deprisa y mis uvas eran mucho más grandes, me hice un lio con todos los deseos!! pero lo conseguí! (espero que el tragar las uvas a tiempo no cuente). Doce deseos es siempre mi intención, pero eso no significa que sean doce deseos distintos. Suelo desear un par para alguien especial, alguien a quien quiero, y repito 'hasta el infinito y más allá' el que tenía preparado para mí... aunque luego me lie y lo pida mal, como siempre jajaja. Pero se cumplen, Petrarca, los pidamos como los pidamos, así que ganarás tus dos mundos. En mi deseo solo hay uno. Es muy chiquitito... por eso tengo que vigilar los baobabs... Feliz año nuevo!!!

it's incredible and so surreal.
it's one of the best images i've seen in quite some time. it goes beyond thoughts and into pure feeling.
that is rare in a photo.
that is why i keep coming back to it.
but now i must ask you something because there is a strangeness to it.
(which i love, of course.)
i think it is the shadow around the girls head in the foreground. it makes it look like she is in front of a wall or maybe lying down.
or is she really outside?
i'm just trying to make sense of it.
if she were outside would that shadow be surrounding her face that way?
Wow Katia... you really touched my heart with your words. Even if it is just one person in the whole world that thinks that one of my pictures goes beyond thoughts and into pure feeling, means everything to me.... Thank you....
The picture is done in the outside (in a beautiful beach called Virage). It was almost dark, with the last lights of the sunset. I used flash and a very low shuttle speed to get more light in from the ambient so that is the reason for the shadow ;-)
And yes, this photo brings me a surreal feeling too... like a dream....
