From reality to dreams. Because Africa also have dreams and they should become true.
In the last two days I've been shooting in a hospital for one of my assignments. Had a long talk with the director about all the things they need and how they work without medical equipment. The few machines they have don't work anymore. They work in very hard conditions but they still do. While waiting to start the report, a young woman suffering malaria fell down to the floor just in front of me....
A whole morning living such a raw reality where people still have dreams...
But Africa also shines and last night my next shooting took me from the reality into a shiny dream.
Africa already has my hand and heart to help their dreams come true.

You can't imagine how hard and tough... specialy when you can't do anything that could make a big difference for them.

Si lo que estás haciendo sirve para que alguien tome conciencia del problema realmente ya estás ayudando y con fotones como este no dudo que lo conseguirás.
Esa imagen es una maravilla pixel a pixel y ojalá algún dia pueda llegar a transmitir con las mias la mitad de lo que tu logras con las tuyas.
Por cierto, y perdona el mensaje extra, cuando vi tu foto vino a mi mente el nombre de Parisotto, solo que la tuya es más limpia, más pura.;-)

This picture is from a fashion shooting taken by night in a street of Dakar, playing with shadows and lights. After two days taking pictures in the hospital, I felt like I wanted to escape from reality and the result was really amazing! :)
Espero conseguir ese objetivo y que mi trabajo sirva de verdad de ayuda :)
Respecto a la foto, me alegro de que te parezca una maravilla. Intenté darle un feeling especial y durante todo el tiempo que duró el shooting olvidé el mundo en el que estaba....
Y bueno, ya quisiera yo parecerme a Parisotto en muchas cosas, aunque eso de que mi foto es más limpia y pura creo que lo retirarás cuando veas alguna de las fotos del making of que pienso poner :D

Siempre se puede hacer realidad los sueños, Haydon. Just make it happen... pero siguiendo tu propio camino. Nunca lo lograrás siguiendo el de los demás...
Generosidades pasadas... de pequeña escala... no garantizan generosidades futuras... a pequeña escala también...
Miedo nunca y placer por mi camino y por el de los demás siempre...

jeje tú no te quedas corto tampoco en cuanto a claridad, no sé a qué te refieres!! :D pero bueno, de eso se trata, de seguir adelante y hacer realidad tus sueños. Seguro que el resultado te asombra!
