It was at the end of an intimate and fun party when a very good friend looked at me and asked "Ana, is Life so complex or just simple but we make it complicated?"
We were alone just for that brief moment and had no time to talk about it. I do not know the reason that brought up that question and my answer was as brief as the moment. Just said that I was lately thinking too often about the simplicity and complexity of Life and that my conclusion was that life is simple and that we tend to split hairs making big circles around things, overthinking and looking for trouble where there is none.
I just started reading a book where somebody is searching for some meanings and knowledge. And started the search going to the roots and beginning of everything, looking for the maestros and taking so many different paths instead of taking the straight and easy road.
We keep moving forward, opening doors, and doing new things,
because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
(Walt Disney)
because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Life is a journey. There is one big, easy (simple) and straight road that could bring us wherever we all want to be. But there are infinite small and winding paths starting from the edges of the main road. Paths that go nowhere, paths that get entangled ones with others, paths plenty of holes, crowded paths.... paths of all kind. And then we feel lost, we don't know the right direction, we get confussed and we just don't see what it is simply in front of us.
Think simple, watch simple. And smile. As simple as that.
We are, all of us, pilgrims who struggle along different paths
toward the same destination
